The Descent is an experimental feminist body-horror film that seeks to challenge the status quo of how the Monstrous Feminine is portrayed in the horror genre. The film uses mise-en-scêne to transport the viewer into a shadowy world, where we explore what lies beneath the surface through a series of digital physical theatrical performances.
